Hugs

Hello everyone!
I hope you all had a fabulous Valentines with lots of wining and dining and chocolate galore! I am winding down the "birthday season" with two more cards. This one was for my Mother that I couldn't post till now.I did hers with the Iris Folding technique, which is really fun to do. She loved it! Of course it was also done in her favorite color, pink! I also pain-stakingly cut the ribbon by hand, which wasn't the most fun at all!  I guess I was deep in the "create" mode when I decided to do it, Lol! I'm pretty sure there is a Cricut cut similar to it on some cartridge!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoyed making!

You and me

Hey everyone!
I thought I would try something new and use a different font. Let me know what you think in the comments please! Today's card is another "use your stash" card. I'm trying desperately to re-organize and reduce my stash as part of my New Years resolutions. I'm getting there slowly but surely as long as I don't break down and buy anything new,LOL! I made a funny!
This card began with a pre-made card base and another one of those dollar bin doilies. The banners were also in a tiny kit I purchased at Hobby Lobby at the end of the season last year.I didn't like the letters that came with the pennants, so I stamped my own and blinged them up! thanks for taking time to look......stay warm!

Supplies- Close To My Heart: You + Me from "Who's Your Valentine", dimensional chipboard heart  Robert Stanley Craft Collection: Chipboard pennants, Ranger: Stickles in silver, Recollections: Card base, Doily from Target dollar bins, Studio G "love" stamp, Pearls from my stash.

Love

Hello everyone!
I am so happy that my blog has finally been restored, and she even changed the title around a little! I really didn't like the plain Jane look and even though this is the same background, it's been so long, that everything looks bright and new to me.
For my card today I really just used the paper as my inspiration and went from there. I stamped a couple of doilies( can you tell I:m into doilies lately), did some cutting and punching, added some embellishments, and there you have it! Another quick and easy valentine! I'm so glad you stopped by to take a look. Please keep warm and dry and safe in this crazy weather!

Supplies- Paper: MME "Love Me" 6x6 pad, Stamped doilies: SU "Delicate Doilies", Punched doily: SU "Triple Doily" punch on metal,Top border: Sizzix Edgeabilities "Classic Ric Rac",Sentiment: Paper Studio everyday stamp "Artwork" wet embossed, Birds: Colorbok "Flea Market".

Be Mine

Hey everyone!
I have been so busy making birthday cards that Valentines Day is sneaking up fast! I thought I would show you this quick and simple card. I started with a pre-made card base and stamped a sentiment onto a piece of white card, then played with my watercolor pencils. I popped it up on top of a doily that I purchased from the dollar bins at Target and finished with a ribbon and a button. Easy peasy!
Today was the second birthday this week, and I have three more to go this month! Whew! I always fill so rushed this time of the year. I hope everyone has planned their card making schedule a little better than I have, and won't be in such a rush to finish your valentines this week! I'll be back tomorrow with another one for you..... Thanks for peeking!

Thanks for looking!

Framed

Hello everyone! I have another birthday card for you. This one is for my son. I made one like this for my daughter on her birthday, and decided my son might get a kick out of his too. The design is not mine, but was done by Shirley Ross at http://www.momnmescrap.blogspot.com/. The picture slides out from the top and can be changed every year. The pic I chose is from my son's 8th birthday and also shows some of his friends. They are all grown now, but have remained friends since then.
I hope you are all safe and warm. Our temps are back into  the high 60's again and the ice has all melted. This crazy bi-polar weather is driving me nuts! Thanks for peeking!

Supplies-Present: CTMH "M" stamp "A Little Gift", Spellbinder's: "Labels One" nestie, Calendar: from my stash, Stars: Studio G mini punch, Banner: Artiste Collection "Birthday" CTMH.
