A squealing good time!

Hello all! I just had to stop and post this birthday card that I made awhile ago. I'm still dealing with hospitals and doctor's and rehab with my Dad, but decided to try and relax a bit tonight. This card came about from the computer generated sentiment on the front (thanks Joy), and the cute little pig that I saw on someone's blog not long ago. I'm sorry, but I can not remember where I saw this pig! She is all hand made from ovals and rectangles and triangles, and I want to thank whoever I got it from for the inspiration! I also made the "Asters" on the front from many, many punched out flowers. Thanks for peeking, and I hope to be able to visit all of your blogs very soon!

Thinking of You

Hey Ya'll! Sorry I have been MIA for so long. My Father has had some medical problems and had to have surgery and is still in the hospital.... You can guess what kind of week I have been having! Anyway, I have'nt spent too much time in my craft room in awhile. Here's a quick card I made using Tea Bag Folding for the flower. I don't even remember where I got the idea to use vellum, but I think it made a pretty little flower! I embossed the background, added a piece of packaging cut with a Spellbinders die behind the flower and a vintage seam binding bow with handmade stickpin to the front. The inside was left blank so that you can write a personal message at a later date. Thanks for peeking!
Supplies: Embossing folder- Quik kutz, Swirls- Ruffles: Martha Stewart border punches, Flower backing: Spellbinders, Peony

Heavens to Betsy

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is staying inside and cool with this record heat. It was 103 here yesterday, and predicted to be 100 today. This card was made with scrap paper and items that got rejected their first go-round. I used a stamp that I purchased from Papertrey Ink awhile ago and just got around to using. I don't know about you, but I have purchased so many new stamps and embellies lately that, to be honest, I have overwelmed myself and don't know where to start anymore!I'm still trying to use up my scraps and have kind of been stuck on making flowers, so that's how this card came about. Hope you enjoy and "Stay cool"!
Supplies: Outside sentiment- Papertrey Ink- Glory Be set, Inside sentiment- Studio G, Daisy paper- October Afternoon, Modern Homemaker, Bird on a limb- Stampin' Up- Build a Bird punch and Language of Friendship stamp. All of the flowers were made by me with tissue paper, bakers twine, and assorted buttons and bling.
