A Little Something

Hello All! I am so sorry I haven't been the best of bloggers lately, but sometimes life intervenes and sadly my blog gets neglected. I have still been able to make a few cards, but not as much as I would like. Dad is home from re-hab (yay), so maybe things will get back to normal soon. I had some issues with updating my Gypsy recently and spent a whole day on the phone with Provo to get them solved. During that time I did manage to complete a project that I had been thinking about since before Christmas. I will post those pics  soon. Today I have another birthday card to share. This was pretty simple to make and I love the pink color to brighten up the winter blues. The inside is blank with a pocket to hold a gift card. Thanks for dropping by and I hope you are warm and safe in your neck of the woods!

Birthday

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New years! Things are starting to quite down a bit here on the home front. My Dad got home from his re-hab the Friday before Christmas and ended up going to the emergency room on Saturday because of some heart problems, so we spent Christmas in the hospital again this year! He is now in another re-hab with a week to go ,but has developed a bacterial infection. Needless to say, he is not a happy camper! On top of all that, my Hubby had rotator cuff surgery done this past Thursday, and "I gotta' do everything" like   he always tells me he does! With that being said, I haven't had a lot of spare time to spend in my craft room. This is "Birthday Season" at my house though, so I am trying to at least get those cards made. This one is for my Mom's whose birthday  next month. This one is made with core'dinations paper which I embossed with a Quik Kutz folder. I added a sentiment, some flowers from my stash that I blinged up, and a knotted seam binding ribbon to finish it off. I hope you enjoy, and thanks for peeking!
