Husband's Father's Day

Hi everyone! This is my last Father's Day card, and in the nick of time! This one is for my husband. We own a boat that we take to the river on the weekends. I made the payments on it until I quit working, so I always told him that it was my boat. Anyway, long story short, he always drives the boat even though I know how, because I never got a boat license. He float's my boat! I welded the boat shape on my Gypsy, and used the Father's Day cart again. Even though I thought this would be the easiest one to do, it turned out to be the hardest. I added some pieces of plastic packaging to the windows(I don't think you can tell from the picture), and added the wave at the bottom, which came from Everyday Paper Dolls. Added the emblem, and handcut a little towel. The sentiment on the inside was cut from Just Because Cards, and the anchor from Stand and Salute. Mr. Fix It

Hello everyone! I made this card for my step-grandson to give to his Dad, who is always fixing things around the house or yard. I used the Father's Day cart, and welded the tool box together. I stamped the tags and "nailed and screwed" them to the side. All the tools ,except the tape measure, are stickers I found in my stash. The letters on the front are from Plantin Schoolbook, and the emblem on the inside from Father's Day. I distressed a piece of paper and " hung " it on the inside. Used my gelly roll pens for a little bit of glitz. I really enjoyed making this one,and I hope you like it too. Thanks for looking!

Dad's Recliner

Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I posted, so I thought I would share this Fathers Day card with you. My Dad has a favorite blue recliner that he sits in every day and watches TV , and listens to various news channels. He drinks coffee all day also, and somehow manages to fall asleep at some point during the day! Go figure! Anyway this Fathers Day Seasonal cart had the recliner on it, so I rushed out and bought it just for this card! I used color core paper for the recliner, sanded the body of the chair and left the outline unsanded. The sentiment was computer generated, and the z's came from Plantin Schoolbook. I didn't like the bright blue core on the inside so I matted the inside, added some glitter to the z's, did some inking and popping, and called it done ! Thanks for peeking!
