The Final Two

Hey everyone! I'm back with the last two Halloween cards for the year. My Husbands birthday is Halloween so I need to make him a card and get ready to celebrate! These two cards were made using a Tim Holtz Alterations die. I figured they were both on the same die why not just make two cards. I used Coordinations Black Magic cardstock to cut them both, and just slightly sanded them to give them a distressed look. For the cat I cut the fence from one of my Cricut carts and added a brad and some bling. That tiny spider up top was fussy cut(I know!). I don't know what I was thinking, but looking at it now I must have been "in the zone"! For the raven, I used some left over pumpkins from a previous card and found the sentiment in my stash. I hope everyone has a very Haunted Halloween, and none of you get blown away, flooded out, or snowed in! Take care!

Dressed Up

Hey Ya'll! Just a quick post to share another Halloween card with you! This one was inspired by Pinterest! Beth Beard of Mylittlecraftblog.com did a similar card for Stampin Up and was pinned on Pinterest. I took it up a notch and came up with this. I used some tulle behind the skirt and glittered up her shoes and hat. Added a little bit of bling and stamped a cute little spider. Thanks for looking!

Pumpkin Patch

Hello everyone! As promised I have another Halloween card for you! The inspiration for this one came from a catalog that I was looking at the other day. I pretty much lifted it and turned it into a card instead of the wall plaque it was in the catalog. I used several cartridges for this, plus some punches and memory thread for the curly ques on the pumpkins. I inked and distressed the whole backgound as well as the sign stuck in the patch. I also did alot of chalking on the pumpkins. The inside simply says "Happy Halloween" since I was plum tuckered out by the time I finished the front! Hope your Halloween crafting and creating are still in full swing, and thanks for dropping by!
Supplies- Tall two tone pumpkins: Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art, Crow and Bat: M.S. punches( I altered the bird's tail and head), Other pumpkins and Cat: Paper Doll Dress Up, Sign: Camp Out

Spooky cute

Hey everyone! It's time to post another Halloween card! I recently purchased several stamp sets from Stampin' Up and this one I liked because there are alot of stamps with cute Halloween monsters and creatures and things that go "bump in the night". The spooky bingo card was computer generated and the cat and spiders are from a punch. I also used two more punches on the inside sentiment. Give me another couple of days and I'll have another card for you. I haven't been able to keep up with my friend Jen at http://creating-with-the-js.blogspot.com but I think I'm holding my own. Thanks for takin' a peek!

Bushels

Hello everyone! I know I've told you how much I love this time of year, and one of the reasons is apples! Apples for pies and tarts, apples for jam and jellies, and some apples just for eating! My favorite at the moment are the Honey Crisps. Nice and firm with a sweet/tart flavor.... I could eat them all day if they were, not so very expensive!! The inspiration for this card came from one I saw online a couple of years ago. I don't remember who did it, but I think I saw it on the Cricut Board, so thank you whoever you were! The tree, basket, apples and leaves are all cricut cuts. The label is from a punch and the sentiment was hand lettered by me. I used a Cuttlebug folder on the sky and tore my papers for the field. The inside was left blank. I promise the Halloween cards are coming! I need to post them before it gets here, lol! Thanks for peeking, and I hope everyone has a wonderful and restful weekend!

Hey Ya'll! Just a quick post today to share a quick card. I used a pre-cut card base from my stash, a scrap of crimped paper from another project, and two of my new stamps from Stampin' Up! The bird took the longest as I stamped it several times to get all the different colors. The leaf cut out was drawn and cut by hand. I hope everyone is having a beautiful Sunday, and thanks for stopping by!
Supplies- Stamp sets: Day of Gratitude for the label and Tweet Leaves for the leaf, Stampin' Up, Ribbon: Close to My Heart from WSOTG Pear and Partridge, Label: McGill, Vintage Label

Bountiful

Hi everyone! Halloween seems to be creeping up on me fast, so I thought I would post a couple more Fall cards before I start on the Halloween ones. This is a new stamp and die set from Stampin' Up that I fell in love with from the get go!I stamped and then cut the jar from some old packaging. The "plaid" jar topper was done with some of my CTMH markers, and the sentiments came from an old scrapbook pad by ATD. I just love this set! It also has apples, pears, cherries, and a flower that comes with the stamp set. I hope all of you are having a bountiful Harvest and are enjoying this beautiful time of year! Thanks for looking! Supplies: Stampin' Up- Stamp and die bundle "Perfectly Preserved", Sentiments- ATD scrapbook pad "Fall", CTMH- markers, twine, and burlap ribbon Studio G- Buttons

Hello everyone! What beautiful weather we are having here! Once the rain stopped, the temmperatures have been cool and reminded me of how much I love this time of year. I hope all of you are celebrating this wonderful Fall weather as well! My upline Shirley Ross with Close to My Heart has issued a challenge for all Hobbyists(that's me !) to do a project with our CTMH supplies as well as using other people's products from our stash. This card was made for the challenge with a new stamp I received recently from CTMH and some products from Stampin' Up I had in my stash. The leaf was colored with different markers from CTMH, SU, and Tim Holtz. I hope you enjoy and thanks for looking!
