You say Bokeh...

Hey Ya'll!

However you say it, either like a bouquet of flowers or like the town of Boca Ratan, this is my attempt at this technique. I did these awhile ago, and I'm still not sure I got them dark enough. The pink and yellow was the first one using the CTMH colors Sunset , Canary, and Pixie, I believe.

,

I decided that the circles were not dark enough , and did them a little darker with the second card. On  this card I used the CTMH colors Thistle, Glacier and Juniper.

I used Sizzix dies for both the sentiments. Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone has a Happy 4th of July!

Dad's Day

Hello again!

So tomorrow is Father's Day and I wanted to show you the two cards I made for my Hubby and my Son-in-Law. I really didn't spend alot of time on them, but the creative juices did flow a bit.

This first one is for my Hubby, and I did an homemade action wobble for the mustache.

This next one is for my Son-in-Law, and I got the idea from two different cards I saw on Pinterest .

Thanks for peeking!

MoJo

Hello everyone!

My, my it has been a long time since I posted! I'm sooo sorry for leaving you hanging like that. No one excuse could explain better than to say that I just have no desire whatsoever to do much of anything lately. No. Mo. Jo. It certainly hasn't stopped me from buying more supplies, or attending card classes and using someone else's ideas! I'm just stuck and can't seem to pull myself out of the slump.
I do have a card to show you that was made a couple of months ago before my creative brain stopped working! This is for Father's Day for my Dad. I'm working on another two for Hubby and Son-in-Law. Short and sweet and to the point.
I hope the MoJo returns soon so that I can stop looking at all these newly purchased supplies and get busy instead of surfing the web and spending money on supplies I'm not using! So frustrating!!
Anyway, thanks for hanging in there with me. Don't give up on me yet!

Glitter

Good Morning Everyone!
It's another Use Your stash Hop and the theme is Glitter!
If you're following along and you came from Michelle's blog then you're on the right track. I hope you've found some inspiration along the way.
I went way, way back into my stash and found a scrap from one of my favorite papers, Dreamin'. I just loved the colors and patterns of this paper! I also found some shimmer trim that was a perfect match! The stamp is from Inky Antics and I used my water color pencils to color it in. Thanks for hopping along with us!

Your next stop will be Sheila's blog and you're next inspiring moment is only seconds away!

Oh Happy Day!

Hello everyone!
I really need to get better at posting on a regular basis?!
It has been awhile, but I finally finished a mini album I have been working on. Maybe it was more procrastination than anything else, hehe, because once I started it only took two days to finish!
Anyhoo, I thought I would show you part of the mini and warn that it will be picture heavy. I got the tutorial for this file folder mini from myserenitycrafts at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWeuZLpQ3JA via Pinterest.
It was really easy to put the mini together and once I decided how I wanted it to look everything just fell into place. I hope you enjoy the look and let me know what you think because I love hearing from you!

Here are a few tags that go in the mini.

Green

Hello everyone!

I decided to sign up for another Use Your Stash Blog hop, and the theme is It's hard being green.  Those of you who know me know that green is not even a half way, sorta kinda color that I use or wear etc. I don't really care for green, so there's really not a whole lot of it floating around my craft room. I guess what I'm trying to say is it really is hard being green if you expect to find it here!
I dug real deep and found pieces of green here, and there, and and came up with this card. I decided to make a swing card for Saint Patrick's Day. Like the stamp says, I was Feelin' Green, hehe!
If you're coming from Janet's blog then you're on the right track! I hope you find inspiration and have some fun too!

Your next stop will be Marie's blog. Go see what she has created and leave some love!

Party Animal

Hey Ya'll!

I wanted to show you this card I made for my Grandson for his 18th birthday. When this stamp came out I just couldn't wait to purchase it and use it on a card!

I used my Shinhan alcohol markers on it and I think it turned out pretty good for my amateur status. I'm more of a water color pencil girl, but I'm getting to where I like the Shinhan's a little better each time I use them! Any way, after I got the stink eye, my Grandson said he liked it and that's all that really matters.

I hope everyone enjoyed their St. Pat's day, and thanks so much for looking in on me.

Birthday Funnies

Good Morning!

I'm back with two more birthday cards, both of which I totally cased! I couldn't help myself since they each reminded me of my Son and my Dad. I thought they would get a laugh out of them!

This first one was for my son who tells me he is falling apart physically.

I used the Cricut cartridge  "Simply Charmed" and a Sizzix decorative strip die for the letters. I got the inspiration from Pinterest and could not track down who the original card maker was, but whoever you are thank you so much, my Son loved it!

This card was for my Dad for his 80th birthday and he got a good chuckle out of it! This one was also inspired by Pinterest at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1269952
Both of the cards say " Gettin' Old Ain't for Sissies" on the inside.

I used the Cricut cartridge "Stretch Your Imagination" for this card. Thanks for peeking, and have a wonderful Tuesday!

Whew!

Hello everyone!
I am so glad that "Birthday Season" is finally over at my house! Now I can take a little breather and show you some of the cards I created. This card was made for my Sister In Law who has had and forever will have grand children running around all over the house( and still working too)!

I thought she deserved the honor of being Queen for the Day on her birthday. I think we all need that one day where we get to wear a crown, don't you?!
This card base  and pop-up were made from the "Artfully Sent" cartridge from Close to My Heart. I am in love with this cartridge! It's got it all, from cards to overlays to pop-ups and pockets. I'm in heaven!
Thanks for looking in on me, and I hope you like the peek!

Use Your Stash Blog Hop

Hello everyone!

I have been so busy with Birthday season, I've not had a chance to post. Eight birthdays this month, 5 down, three to go! But wait! I have elected to join the Use Your Stash Blog Hop. The theme for this month is PAPER, and you all know I have a large stash of pretty papers,he he!
If you've come from Priscilla'shttp://www.priscillaspaperie.com/2015/02/my-love-affair-with-paper-use-your.html blog then your on the right track. So hop along and be inspired to create  with "pretty papers"!
I have been cleaning up and cleaning out my craft space and came across some of my favorite papers from Close to My Heart. I decided to make a one page mini that can be used as a brag book. It's small and compact and doesn't take up much room in your purse. I made this one with my newest Grandson in mind!

A New Year

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a glorious New Year! Time for fresh starts and hopefully a productive and resourceful year. I wish everyone lots and lots of mo-jo and maybe a few surprises along the way.
I know I promised birthday cards, but I saw a challenge at http://papercrafterscorner.com/   that I couldn't resist so I made a Valentine instead. Ya'll know I have been cleaning up and cleaning out,  and I ran across these candy heart stickers that I've had for several years, so I decided to use them up rather than throwing them away. This is what I came up with and I am entering it in the Magazine Mondays – Week 82! challenge. I hope you like it! You know it's never to early to get started on your Valentine's cards! See you soon, and thanks for stopping by!
