Hello everyone! I can't believe that Easter is almost here! The week went so fast! I finished up my therapy on my shoulder this week and feel like it is pretty much back to normal except for being sore from working it so much. Anyway I thought I would post this card and wish everyone a Happy Easter! Stampin' Up has a stamp with the bird's nest on a limb with eggs in it, so that was my inspiration. I used a Tim Holtz die some basket filler for the nest and some faceted buttons for the eggs. The tips of the branches have  a little bit of green chalk on them although you can't see it in the picture. The background was embossed with two Cuttlebug folders. I also made a "special" box for this card since it is a little on the "fat side". I hope you enjoy and thanks for peeking!

Supplies- Tim Holtz: Alterations die "Bird Branch", Cuttlebug: 'Divine Swirl" and "Daisys" embossing folders, Stampin' Up: Modern label punch, Studio G: Sentiment

It is made with the Oval Framelits collection, the Square Lattice Folder and the Pop-Up Posies kit in the Spring Mini. I added the grass and the little yellow flower when I got home. Isn't it cute!! Hope you enjoy!

Egg Day

Hello everyone! I hope all of you had a very "lucky' day this past Sunday, and you all found you pot of gold or at least your lucky charm! We celebrated here with beautiful Spring weather and temps in the 80's. I'm sure there will be a cold snap before Easter and we will have to put away the shorts and flip flops for another week or so then it will be almost like summer again! I made another tag in a bag with some new bags from CTMH that I purchased last month. This one is for Easter and turned out so cute that I am thinking of making more to put in some of the neighborhood kid's baskets. I took some of these small "kits" to my friend Gale's house last week and we all made one . The punch rabbit was lifted from one that my Stampin' Up demonstrator showed us how to do last year. The only difference is that I made a fluffy bunny with a scalloped circle instead of using a plain oval for his body.I got this idea from Michelle over at She made a jar tag that was just too cute not to use! I hope you all are ready for Easter which is fast approching! Oh' and spring break for the kids too! Hopefully we won't all go nuts before they return to school! Thanks for looking!

Supplies: Jar- Inkadinkadoo, Bag- CTMH, My Creations Paper Pouch(small), Bunny stamp- Studio G, Flower stamp- CTMH, "A Garden Grass- Martha Stewart punch(leftovers).

Tag in a Bag

Hey Ya'll! Thought I would pop in and share this cute little tag in a bag that I made up using some old and some new products from my stash. As you know, I am still working on using what I have instead of running out to the store to buy new. I did buy a little bit of new, but hey, I figure a girls got to keep up with the times right!? Anyway, it all started with the new pinwheels on the pocket. One is from CTMH(pre-made) and the other from S.U.(a die). I used Tim Holtz Distress inks and Markers for the background on the tag then spray it with some Smooch Spritz. I also used some Alcohol Inks on the M.S. pearls(eggs) to change the color to Turquoise. Then I added bits and pieces of this and that, and there you are, a tag in a bag to celebrate Spring! I hope all of you are enjoying the Spring weather as much as I am, and thanks for looking!

The Best

Hello all! Just a quick card today. I've been trying to use supplies that I have before I buy new(uh huh..RIGHT!) and I came up with this cute "friendly thank you card" using some Close To My Heart products that I purchased last year. This particular paper packet is also featured in the new Spring/Summer idea book. I used some of the chipboard pieces from the Artiste collection along with its cordinating stamp to make the center portion of the "blue ribbon", then used all of the zip strip that came off the paper as my "ribbons". The other ribbon is from my stash. I hope everyone is having a crafty weekend and thanks for looking!
Supplies- Close To My Heart: Artiste cartridge and chipboard, Paper, "Clementine", Stamp, "Kudos", Artiste collection.
