Clean and Simple

Hey Ya'll! Just a quick post with a quick and easy card. I bought this stamp awile ago and just got around to using it. I stamped the typewriter and an extra piece of paper to insert into the typewriter to give it more demension.I then added some vintage seam binding (to mimic typewriter ribbon) and some typewriter keys to that. I left the inside blank so that I could write whatever I wanted when I wanted. Short and sweet. Hope you like and thanks for taking a peek!

Belated Mother's Day

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a Happy Mother's Day, and now that it's over I can post these last two cards. This first one was made for my Mother. I got the idea from the March issue of Cardmaker magazine. I bought this issue because it had so many flower embellishments in it. I used pinking shears on the edges of my mat and did some sewing. The "flowers" were made using Spirelli(string art), and I added buttons to the centers. Added a vintage seam binding bow and stamped a tiny tag. The inside sentiment was computer generated.
Supplies: Cardstock- Stampin' Up, Paper- October Afternoon,Modern Homemaker 8x8 pad, Disk for flowers- Mother's Day Bouquet, Sunburst flower. This second card was made for my Daughter who is forever washing clothes! With a Husband and two boys there are alot of dirty clothes! So, with that in mind , here's a basket full of dirty laundry and clean ones on the line. The sentiments inside and out were computer generated, and the washing machine was an altered stove cut done on my Gypsy. Thanks for looking!

Perspective

Hello everyone! I have been playing around with this idea for a while. Over at ://httpwww.moxiefabworld.com/2012/04/spectacular-spectacles-challenge.html there is a challenge for Spectacular Spectacles that I decided to enter. I used Iris Folding for the inside of the glasses. I had forgotten how much fun this is to do, plus you can use your scraps! Win, win! I embossed the card with a Quickutz folder, stamped a sentiment from the Tim Holtz Alterations line, and added bakers twine and a button to finish it off. Hope you enjoy, and thanks for peeking!

Mother's Day Flowers

Hey Ya'll! I thought I would post this card that I made for my Mother-in-Law for Mom's Day. I purchased a Cardmaker magazine last month that had several different flowers in it and I have been making them right and left! These are called Kusudama flowers and are folded Origami. I thought they were very pretty and different, but again they will have to have a special box made to send them in if you were to mail them. Lucky me, I get to hand deliver! I will be entering this in challenge #54- Mother's Day at http://craftspotbykimberly.blogspot.com/. Thanks for looking!

Super mini Tag Album

Hello everyone! I purchashed a new book recently called Making Handmade Books. This little album caught my eye right off the bat, and I had to make it! It is made from one 81/2 x 11 sheet of paper, and one scrap of 23/4 x 61/2 piece of cardstock for the cover. The whole album measures 23/4 x 3"! Very small, but it was done in a matter of an hour! All stamping was done with Tim Holtz Alterations stamps. The album itself was made with a piece of handmade paper and Basic Grey embossed paper for the cover. I also Alcohol Inked several of the tags and punched them out. Hope you enjoy looking! Tell me what you think!

Two Cards

Hello everyone! I recently purchased some items from Close To My Heart, and when I saw how beautiful this paper was I couldn't wait to make a card with it. Well, I ended up making two cards with the one sheet I picked out! This first one is done with one corner of the front side of the paper. I used a punch for the flower, the leaves, and the card the sentiment is on. The paper the flower is made from is a paper roll by Martha Stewart, and I inked up the petals and sprayed it with some shimmer. Both of these cards will most definitely have to be hand delivered in a special handmade box since the flowers are a bit "puffy".

Recipe-
Paper and card: CTMH, Florentine collection
Rolled flower: EK Success punch
Sentiment: CTMH, 4 My Friend stamp set
Leaves: Martha Stewart Punch and Stamp punch

This second card is done with the backside of the same piece of paper, and I did a lighter and brighter effect with this one! The stem of the flower is a border stamp that I curved and fussy cut. I used Art Philosophy for the sentiment cut, and punches for the flower and leaves. I stamped and punched the flower five times, curled the leaves, and added deminsionals between three of the layers, added a brad from my stash, and sprayed it with glimmer. I love the way they both turned out, and only have four more patterns to go! Thanks for looking, and let me know what you think!

Last Minute

Hey Ya'll! I hope everyone had a wonderful blessed Easter, and didn't overdue on the eatin' end of it like we did here! This was something I started before Easter and never got to finish till now, so I thought I would share it anyway. I don't know why I didn't get it done before! I had everything cut out and glittered up, and put together. All I needed to do was glue, glue, glue! Oh well, here it is. This would be cute for a small gift, or a cupcake, or single piece of yummy candy! It only measures 51/2 x 4"(basket) and 8" tall with handle. I saw these 3D eggs on several different blogs and had to try them. I think they are too cute! Thanks for looking, and I hope everyone is enjoying this nice Spring weather!
