Travel Tales Mini Album

Hello everyone! Sorry it has been so long since I posted, But this is the project I have been working on. This is a mini album encased in a suitcase, and everything is made from chipboard ,kraft paper, and patterned paper with the exception of the hardware.I got this idea from Kathy Yorta at Paper Phenomenom. She is amazing! I really can't believe what she comes up with sometimes! You can watch her videos on Youtube or go to her Ustream channel for her classes. Check her out by clicking on the button on the right hand side of my page. I hope these pics come out in the right order, as I am new to this and don't know all the ins and outs yet on posting. Anyway enjoy the pics and I welcome your comments or questions if you have them. The first two pics are of the suitcase, the second two are the mini album and the last two are the wallet that goes in the pocket on the front of the suitcase.

Summer Fun

Hi everyone! I haven't forgotton you, I've just had a very busy week! I haven't made a new card, but our 92 degree "Spring" weather got me thinking about Summer so I thought I would post this card that I made awhile back and never shared. All the cuts were made from Lifes a Beach except for the little guy on the front which is a stamp that I colored and cut out by hand. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking!

Mothers Day flower basket

Hi everyone! This is my last Mothers Day card for this year. The basket and the pink and turqouise flowers were cut from My Community, and the yellow mat from Just Because Cards. I braided and sewed raffia to the basket, added a little lace , and did some inking. The white flowers were cut with an MS punch and glue together. Added some bling, some velvet rick rack ribbon, and some buttons. The butterfly is a MS punch. Thanks for peeking!

Mothers Day flowers

Hello everyone! I thought I would post this card that I made for my Husband's Mother. I used some crocheted flowers that I had in my stash because I loved the colors, they looked so "springy" . The doily behind the flowers was cut from the Storybook cart, and is actually supposed to be a flower. I added a ribbon, some buttons, and stamped the sentiment. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking!
