Happy Tuesday!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing their crafty thing today and celebrating this beautiful weather! Here in my neck of the woods it is supposed to be in the 80's today with a cool down later this week. Love it! I wish it would stay this temperature all summer, but here in the south this is what we call "Spring". By May it is usually in the 90's and climbing.... The card I have for you today was made for a challenge over athttp://roseblossomgarden.blogspot.com/. Challenge #2 is to use the "Mother's Day Key" from the Artiste cartridge. So, in the final hours, I put this card together, that I have been looking at and playing with for the past week,to enter in the challenge. The roses actually came on a sheet and you punch them out and quill them up! They come 12 to a sheet and I used the whole sheet. The bird I have used before on another card, and I just love it when it is embossed and fussy cut. The inside of the note in it's beak is blank and you can add whatever sentiment you want. If you haven't been to the Rose Blossom Challenge blog yet, please check them out and play along. Thanks for peeking!

Bumble Bee

Hey everyone! I thought I would drop in and show you this card I made on a whim with a new embossing folder that I had not used. I used Kraft Core paper for the mat and a piece of the cut away part for the label. Some blinged up paper flowers and a die cut bee with flocking and bead completed the card. Thanks for takin' a look!

Supplies- Paper: Tim Holtz Kraft Core "Nostalgic" collection, Embossing folder: T.H. "Honeycomb" Texture Fade, Sentiment: CTMH "pun Fun" Stamp, Bling and flocking: Martha Stewart, Bee: Sizzlit "Bee #4", I used Liquid Glass in some of the combs to mimic honey.

Snapped!

Hey everyone! I'm back today to show you another creation using some of my purged scraps and embellishments! Heh heh! I might be doing this for a while what with all the doctor's and dentist's bills I have aquired lately! Anyhoo, I 've seen alot of cards like this one out there in blog land, but this is my version. The sentiment is a rub-on I bought at Big Lots of all places when they still had a good assortment of scrapbooking supplies, and the only " new" thing on the card is the picture of the little girl. I hope you enjoy looking at my creations, and I want you to know how much I appreciate each and every comment I receive from all of you! You don't know how much they brighten my day!! Thanks for peeking!

Supplies-  Girl picture: Spellbinders ephemera papers, Camera: Amy Tangerine, Tim Holtz film Strip Ribbon: Ideaology line, Outside sentiment: Ki Memories "Celebrate", Inside sentiment: Close To My Heart "Card Chatter-Birthday".

Blue

Hey Ya'll!  Last week my blog friend Tracey over athttp://trace-elementz.blogspot.com/  commented on how she loved the color blue and I agreed that it was one of my favorites also. I  made this card a couple of weeks ago with this denim flower that I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby. Since I am still purging my supplies, I used a Sizzix die I hadn't used before, some paper left over from Valentines, a stamp set I had never used and some old vintage seam binding. I also did a little piercing on the doilies. I thought it turned out pretty with all the different shades of blue and was going to enter it in the challenge at the Shabby Tea Room last week , but found out you had to add kraft and a sentiment to the card. Well, try as I might, I just could not incorporate any kraft onto this card. It just didn't look right with all the pastel blues, so here I am sharing with you! I hope you enjoy, and thanks for looking!

Supplies- Doily paper: S.U.," More Amore",Denim Flower: Bead Design "In Bloom", Doilies: S.U. Sizzlits " Delicate Doilies", Butterfly stamp: Seven Gypsies 4 pc. set, Pale blue vintage seam binding.
