Hi everyone! I made this card for the Monday Challenge #17 at My Craft Spot( button on the right). From time to time I help my friend Joy "clean" up her craft studio, and I always check her trash can because she throws away some really good stuff sometimes! The card base, with mats already attached, was rescued from her can on one such occasion not long ago. I had it laying on my work table and was going to make a birthday card. In the pile were various other items that I had made and changed my mind about including the crocheted "snowflake", which started out as a flower. Anyway, I gathered them together, with a scrap of sheer ribbon, and a Cloud Nine sticker I purchased I don't know when, and this is the result. Isn't it amazing what you can do with a handful of scraps you thought you would never use?! These salvaged items made a quick card that I think turned out cute! Thanks for peeking!

What a great card both inside and out! My daughter is the same and throws such good things away, but she lives to far away to raid her trash! Thanks for joining the challenge at My Craft Spot.
Beautiful card!! I love the flower! Amazing what you can do with scraps! Thanks for joining the fun at My Craft Spot!
