Tag in a Bag

Hey Ya'll! Thought I would pop in and share this cute little tag in a bag that I made up using some old and some new products from my stash. As you know, I am still working on using what I have instead of running out to the store to buy new. I did buy a little bit of new, but hey, I figure a girls got to keep up with the times right!? Anyway, it all started with the new pinwheels on the pocket. One is from CTMH(pre-made) and the other from S.U.(a die). I used Tim Holtz Distress inks and Markers for the background on the tag then spray it with some Smooch Spritz. I also used some Alcohol Inks on the M.S. pearls(eggs) to change the color to Turquoise. Then I added bits and pieces of this and that, and there you are, a tag in a bag to celebrate Spring! I hope all of you are enjoying the Spring weather as much as I am, and thanks for looking!

The Best

Hello all! Just a quick card today. I've been trying to use supplies that I have before I buy new(uh huh..RIGHT!) and I came up with this cute "friendly thank you card" using some Close To My Heart products that I purchased last year. This particular paper packet is also featured in the new Spring/Summer idea book. I used some of the chipboard pieces from the Artiste collection along with its cordinating stamp to make the center portion of the "blue ribbon", then used all of the zip strip that came off the paper as my "ribbons". The other ribbon is from my stash. I hope everyone is having a crafty weekend and thanks for looking!
Supplies- Close To My Heart: Artiste cartridge and chipboard, Paper, "Clementine", Stamp, "Kudos", Artiste collection.

Anniversary

Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I posted, and I just had to share this card with you! I think it turned out really well, and to me is very "shabby chic". This card actually started out to be a valentine, but the more I looked at it the more it reminded me of an anniversary card. So be it! That's what it has become!LOL... I dyed my seam binding with Tim Holtz Distress Stain in Spun Sugar and it turned out to be the perfect color to match the glitter paper I used for the mat. It also matches the ribbon roses that were given to me by a friend and the plaque I bought last year and never used!! Don't you love it when everything just comes together and works the first time!! Boy oh boy, this card was heaven to make! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, and thanks for peeking! Supplies- Tim Hotlz: Distress Stain "Sun Sugar", Stampin' Up: Seam binding and embossing powder "Pewter", Amanda Blu: Metal plaque,MME: Glitter paper "Love Nest", White hearts: Iron on applique from Hobby Lobby, CTMH: Stamp "Adore", Stickpin: Handmade by yours truly.

Another Valentine

Hey Ya'll! Quick post today to show you this valentine made using a pre-cut card base. The sentiment is from a previous card that I never used, and the stick pin I made myself. I cut the little pennant by hand and stamped on it. Oh, I also sprayed it with glimmer mist, and stamped and colored on the envelope! Thanks for looking!
Supplies- Bird: Martha Stewart punch, Sentiment: Cricut "Straight From The Nest".

Vintage look Valentines

Hello everyone! I'm back today to show you a couple of Valentines that I made last year, but never shared. I gave both of these a vintage look because of the cupid ornaments that I purchased at Michaels. The first one is a window card and my favorite because of the vivid colors which I thought would be a bit unexpected for a valentine. I cut the window with nesties from Spellbinders and of course used the cutout as a frame for the sentiment on the inside. On the second one I went a different route and used a doily as a frame for the cupid chipboard and just added a seam binding bow and sentiment. I don't know if you can tell from thephotos, but I used a little Rock Candy stickles on all of the sentiments. Both of the card bases measure 4x6. Thanks for looking!
Supplies- Michaels: Cupid chipboard ornaments, Ranger: "Rock Candy" stickles, Spellbinders: Scallop oval nestie and Labels Eight nestie, Sentiments first card: TPC Studio "Little Lovin'" and Studio 112, Second card: Studio 112, Seam binding: Stampin' Up "Pool Party", Fiskars: Scallop punch

Valentine treats!

Hello everyone ! I thought I would go ahead and share with you these cute treat tubes that were also made with the "Whoo's Your Valentine" kit. The kit comes with everything you need to make 12 treats! It comes with paper, glitter paper, tubes, stamp set, and precut and scored boxes. These made up really quick. All you need to add is the treat and some ribbons and trim! My shoulder seems to be healing well, and only 4-6 more weeks of therapy! Whoo Hoo! Today was the first time for stretching, and let me tell you it's not too much fun. My shoulder and arm did feel better afterwards though just to get some of the stiffness out of it! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the look-see and thanks for peeking!
Supplies- CTMH: "Whoo's Your Valentine" kit, Velvet ribbon: From Michaels, Heart trim: Recollections

Valentines

Hey Ya'll! Well, it has been a week since my shoulder surgery and I can finally use my right hand a little. Still hen-peckin' on the computer, but good enough to do a quick post. I made these cute little valentines(3x3) at a long awaited get together at my friend Gale's house about a week before my surgery. We used the new "Whoo's Your Valentine" kit from Close to My Heart. Love it! These were so quick and easy to make, they would be ideal for kids to do with Mom to make for the classroom! Hope you enjoy, and see you soon with some more Valentines(which is right around the corner)! Are you ready for it?!
Supplies- Trim on Pink "Happy Valentines": from Shirley's stash(Thanks Shirley!) All other other supplies; ink, bling, shimmer trim: Close to My Heart, Stamp set: CTMH "Whoo's Your Valentine".
