Hello everyone! Here is Birthday card #5, which happens to be for my Grandson. I have been racking my brain for weeks about what kind of card to do for my Grandson. He is turning 15 and I really couldn't think of anything age appropriate until I saw a picture of an Easel card on a website out of the UK. It was perfect! He spends about 50% of his time playing his DS and the other 50 on the computer! This card is larger than what I usually make at 51/2 X 51/2. I didn't have any carts with a computer on it, so I printed some clip art and used the bottom for the keyboard. The screen is done in some shiny Vellum. I shined up the keyboard a little with a silver gel pen, and popped the words Happy Birthday to give it a little demension.I added the mouse as an afterthought and attached it with memory thread. the candle was hand stamped, glittered up and cut out.
