Belated Birthday
Hey Ya'll! Good news! My Dad is going home tomorrow after a very lengthy stay at the hospital and a two week stay in Re-hab, He is finally going home! Yea!! No more driving back and forth every other day to Montgomery. Now maybe I can devote more time to my blog, catch up on visiting and spend more time with Hubby and Grandson. This card was made for a customer of mine for her birthday which, you guessed it, I forgot about! I just had to use this cute little bee from The Birthday Bash cartridge, and the origami "flower" (thanks Joy) that was in my stash. The inside sentiment was computer generated and it says " I bee sorry I missed your birthday. Hope you like it and it puts a twinkle in your eye! Thanks for looking!

A squealing good time!
Hello all! I just had to stop and post this birthday card that I made awhile ago. I'm still dealing with hospitals and doctor's and rehab with my Dad, but decided to try and relax a bit tonight. This card came about from the computer generated sentiment on the front (thanks Joy), and the cute little pig that I saw on someone's blog not long ago. I'm sorry, but I can not remember where I saw this pig! She is all hand made from ovals and rectangles and triangles, and I want to thank whoever I got it from for the inspiration! I also made the "Asters" on the front from many, many punched out flowers. Thanks for peeking, and I hope to be able to visit all of your blogs very soon!
Supplies: Punches for flowers- Marth Stewart and Fiskars, Buttons- Studio G, Hemp- CTMH, Cardstock- CTMH- Baby Pink, Inside sentiment- CTMH- Card Word Puzzle

Thinking of You
Hey Ya'll! Sorry I have been MIA for so long. My Father has had some medical problems and had to have surgery and is still in the hospital.... You can guess what kind of week I have been having! Anyway, I have'nt spent too much time in my craft room in awhile. Here's a quick card I made using Tea Bag Folding for the flower. I don't even remember where I got the idea to use vellum, but I think it made a pretty little flower! I embossed the background, added a piece of packaging cut with a Spellbinders die behind the flower and a vintage seam binding bow with handmade stickpin to the front. The inside was left blank so that you can write a personal message at a later date. Thanks for peeking!
Supplies: Embossing folder- Quik kutz, Swirls- Ruffles: Martha Stewart border punches, Flower backing: Spellbinders, Peony

Heavens to Betsy
Hi everyone! I hope everyone is staying inside and cool with this record heat. It was 103 here yesterday, and predicted to be 100 today. This card was made with scrap paper and items that got rejected their first go-round. I used a stamp that I purchased from Papertrey Ink awhile ago and just got around to using. I don't know about you, but I have purchased so many new stamps and embellies lately that, to be honest, I have overwelmed myself and don't know where to start anymore!I'm still trying to use up my scraps and have kind of been stuck on making flowers, so that's how this card came about. Hope you enjoy and "Stay cool"!
Supplies: Outside sentiment- Papertrey Ink- Glory Be set, Inside sentiment- Studio G, Daisy paper- October Afternoon, Modern Homemaker, Bird on a limb- Stampin' Up- Build a Bird punch and Language of Friendship stamp. All of the flowers were made by me with tissue paper, bakers twine, and assorted buttons and bling.

Father's Day
Hi everyone! Just a quick post to share the Father's Day card I made for my Grandson to give my Husband. He lives with us, so my husband is pretty much the only Dad he knows. I saw this quote online when I went looking for sentiments and just couldn't resist! I actually remember giving Soap-on-a-Rope to my own Dad a time or two,LOL! I used some clip art that I found online and embossed the mat to look like bathroom tile. I definitely saw the corners of my hubby's mouth curl up when he read the quote. I hope everyone had a wonderful Father's Day and thanks for taking a peek!
Supplies: Embossing folder- Sizzix Checkerboard, Sentiment and soap- computer generated, Used Glossy Accents on the soap bubbles.

Thankful
Hello everyone! I am so Thankful for each and every one of you, that I made a card to show my appreciation! I must admit that every element of this card, with the exception of the yellow flower and the butterfly, was either given to me or leftover from previous projects. The background paper is floral paper that I saved from some flowers I received last year. The white roses were given to me by a friend( thanks Joy ), and the leaves, label, border and card were all leftovers! No matter how each piece arrived, they all came together to create this Thank You for all of my wonderful followers and friends who have encouraged and sometimes guided me on in this journey. I can't thank you enough! The butterfly was made with a Stampin' Up punch. I cut two of the petals off in the center to form the wings, stamped it then painted the colors on, added some pearl beads for the body, and made antenae with a small piece of wire.
Supplies:Butterfly- Stampin' Up punch Blossom and stamp Mixed Bunch, Paint on butterfly-Lumin Arte shimmer, Roses- Sizzix die 3D Flowers, Label- EK Success corner punch, Border and leaves- Martha Stewart punches, Resin flower and sentiment- Close To My Heart Bouquet Asst. and Petite Perks
