Bushels

Hello everyone! I know I've told you how much I love this time of year, and one of the reasons is apples! Apples for pies and tarts, apples for jam and jellies, and some apples just for eating! My favorite at the moment are the Honey Crisps. Nice and firm with a sweet/tart flavor.... I could eat them all day if they were, not so very expensive!! The inspiration for this card came from one I saw online a couple of years ago. I don't remember who did it, but I think I saw it on the Cricut Board, so thank you whoever you were! The tree, basket, apples and leaves are all cricut cuts. The label is from a punch and the sentiment was hand lettered by me. I used a Cuttlebug folder on the sky and tore my papers for the field. The inside was left blank. I promise the Halloween cards are coming! I need to post them before it gets here, lol! Thanks for peeking, and I hope everyone has a wonderful and restful weekend!

Last Minute

Hey Ya'll! I hope everyone had a wonderful blessed Easter, and didn't overdue on the eatin' end of it like we did here! This was something I started before Easter and never got to finish till now, so I thought I would share it anyway. I don't know why I didn't get it done before! I had everything cut out and glittered up, and put together. All I needed to do was glue, glue, glue! Oh well, here it is. This would be cute for a small gift, or a cupcake, or single piece of yummy candy! It only measures 51/2 x 4"(basket) and 8" tall with handle. I saw these 3D eggs on several different blogs and had to try them. I think they are too cute! Thanks for looking, and I hope everyone is enjoying this nice Spring weather!

Curtis' Birthday

Hi everyone! I made this Easel card for my Son-In-Law for his birthday which was this past Tuesday. My Daughter didn't tell me until Sunday about the birthday, and I told her I wouldn't have time to make a card. Anyway, he has been working late every night, which gave me time to come up with something to give him this weekend. The cow( which looks more like a bull to me) was cut from Birthday Bash, and the cupcake was cut from Doodlecharms. I embossed the mat with the cuttlebug folder, Birthday. The sentiment also came from B.B. I did some inking on the sentiment and the top of the cupcake, chalked some of the words on the mat to make them stand out more, and added some unraveled jute to the top of the cows head.Since this was for a man, I didn't add as much bling. I am entering this in the http://www.birthdaysundaes.blogspot.com/ Cakes and Cupcakes Blog Hop and in the http://www.whimsicalwednesdays.blogspot.com/ Challenge #16. Thanks for taking a peek!

Just Because

Hello! I just finished this card, and I love the way it turned out! I made this one to enter in the Fantabulous Cricut challenge #70, which was to make a card or project with a melon or other fruit on it. Watermelons and crows are some of my favorites. In fact, that is what my craft room is partially decorated with! The watermelon and the star were cut from Doodlecharms, and I altered the melon just a bit. The crow was cut from Give a Hoot and it was also altered on my Gypsy. I inked up the star to make it look kinda rusty, did a little inking on the melon, and sanded my crow, and there you have it, a quick "primative" card! Thanks for looking!

Egg Day

This card was inspired by a picture I saw in a magazine of three bunnies in a basket. My take is a bit more "busy" than what I saw, but once I get started sometimes I can't stop! Anyway, I used My Community for the basket(can you see it?), Doodlecharms for the bunnies, which I altered on my Gypsy, and Gypsy Wanderings for the grass and bunny at the bottom. I added some Crinkle Ribbon, which I purchased from  http://craftspotbykimberly.blogspot.com/ , as a bow topped with a stick pin, some Easter grass and gathered ribbon on the basket, a tag, and well you've got the picture!  Thanks for peeking!
