Get Well
Hey Ya'll! Quick post as I am off to see my Dad who has come home from the hospital. I decided to make him a get well card to lift his spirits a bit. I've always wanted to do one like this, but just never had the opprotunity. It's smaller than I wanted
(2 1/2 x 5 1/2 folded), but I didn't want it to look too fat or too long. I also had to make a special envelope for it. Oh, I also padded the middle just a little bit! The whole thing from start to finish took about an hour. Now that he is home, I should have time to get crafty soon with some Harvest/Thankgiving cards and then start on some Christmas. Thanks for peeking!
Supplies- Bandaid Card, RX, and Envelope: Wild Card, Owie: B is For Boy, Needle and Stethescope: Everyday Paper Dolls, Small bandaid: Hand drawn, Sentiment: Design Runner

My Son's Birthday
Hey everyone! I hope your having a wonderful weekend with this crazy weather! It is in the 70's here in Alabama, and raining on again off again. I'm just about tired of it!! This is the card I made for my Son whose birthday is on the 10th. I opted for an easel card instead of trying to do a shaped one of the cake. I embossed the cake and added candles everywhere with the big 30 on the top! My "baby" is no longer a baby! Any whoo, I used stickles for the flames on the candles, glittered up the background, did a little inkin', used bakers twine for the streamers at the top, and sprayed the whole thing with glimmer. This is birthday card #4 for anyone who's counting. I forgot to take pics of the first two, LOL! Thanks for looking!

Happy Haunting
Hello everyone! I just had to make a spooky Halloween card, and this idea has been floating around in my head for awhile. The witch in the moon! I know it's been done and done, but I couldn't resist, so here's my version. I did alot of inking on the whole thing, used raffia for the broom and sprayed the entire card with glimmer although you can't see it very well. I think it turned out pretty cute. Thanks for peeking!
Card recipe:
Card base and inside sentiment: Wildcard
Outside sentiment: Happy Hauntings
Witch: October 31st
Bats: Martha Stewart punch
I will be entering this in the Halloween Card Challenge at the Create Blog. Check them out at http://create.northridgepublishing.com/

Milk and cookies
Hi everyone! Over at the Paper Cutz challenge blog the challenge for this week is Down on the Farm, so I thought I would enter this card that I did and never shared. This was the very first card I did with my Gypsy that my wonderful Husband gave me for Christmas! I used: From My Kitchen-cow milk jug and cookie plate, Just Because Cards-chick, Wild Card-outside sentiment( welded with the Gypsy), and Everday Paper Dolls-grass. I embossed the background with the Divine Swirls folder, added a sunflower sticker from my stash with a button for the center, and another button for the sun after I stamped the rays and doodled them with my gell pen. The inside sentiment was done with my Design Runner. Lots of inkin' and poppin'! Hope you like, and thanks for looking!
