Fathers Day

Hey everyone!
Now that Fathers Day is over, I can show you the card I made for the Enabler( Hubby ). He has a Harley Davidson motorcycle and goes riding just about every Saturday with some of his buddies. I used this image on a card for my son several years ago and they both loved it so....... You can't really tell from the photo, but I used a metallic gel pen on his glasses, glittered up his teeth, and colored then used Liquid Glass on the headlights. I hope you all had a beautiful weekend and thanks for looking!

Supplies- Image copied from the computer, art work of "Letterfly", Background scenery: Memory box die "Modern Landscape", Stamped grass: Rubber Stampede, Hogs and kisses from the "Just Because Cards Cricut cart and stamped sentiment from CTMH "Your the Best".

Lemons

Hello everyone! I am still having some neck issues so I haven't been creating much, but I wanted to show you this card that was sort of a happy accident. I have been purging some of my stash lately and came across this stamp that I had never used. I think I bought it with the intensions of using it for fireworks. I got to playing around with it and came up with the background using only a portion of the stamp(middle) and different colors. The first one I didn't like so I did a second one and used it for this card. In this context it looks more like flowers to me, so I decided to keep this stamp in my stash! The jar is a Sizzix die and embossing folder set. I cut the jar in white then cut two more in vellum and acetate and embossed the top two layers. I used my Gelly Roll pens to color on the acetate. I hope everyone is having a glorious weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Supplies- Jar: Sizzix Bigz  die and embossing folder "Mason Jar", Lemons: "Preserves"," Cricut cart, Background stamp: Hampton Art "Double Vision", Outside sentiment: CTMH "Pun Fun" occasions, Inside sentiment: "Just Because Cards" Cricut

Milk and cookies

Hi everyone! Over at the Paper Cutz challenge blog the challenge for this week is Down on the Farm, so I thought I would enter this card that I did and never shared. This was the very first card I did with my Gypsy that my wonderful Husband gave me for Christmas! I used: From My Kitchen-cow milk jug and cookie plate, Just Because Cards-chick, Wild Card-outside sentiment( welded with the Gypsy), and Everday Paper Dolls-grass. I embossed the background with the Divine Swirls folder, added a sunflower sticker from my stash with a button for the center, and another button for the sun after I stamped the rays and doodled them with my gell pen. The inside sentiment was done with my Design Runner. Lots of inkin' and poppin'! Hope you like, and thanks for looking!

Husband's Father's Day

Hi everyone! This is my last Father's Day card, and in the nick of time! This one is for my husband. We own a boat that we take to the river on the weekends. I made the payments on it until I quit working, so I always told him that it was my boat. Anyway, long story short, he always drives the boat even though I know how, because I never got a boat license. He float's my boat! I welded the boat shape on my Gypsy, and used the Father's Day cart again. Even though I thought this would be the easiest one to do, it turned out to be the hardest. I added some pieces of plastic packaging to the windows(I don't think you can tell from the picture), and added the wave at the bottom, which came from Everyday Paper Dolls. Added the emblem, and handcut a little towel. The sentiment on the inside was cut from Just Because Cards, and the anchor from Stand and Salute. I hope everyone has a wonderful Father's Day, and thanks for taking a peek!

Mothers Day flower basket

Hi everyone! This is my last Mothers Day card for this year. The basket and the pink and turqouise flowers were cut from My Community, and the yellow mat from Just Because Cards. I braided and sewed raffia to the basket, added a little lace , and did some inking. The white flowers were cut with an MS punch and glue together. Added some bling, some velvet rick rack ribbon, and some buttons. The butterfly is a MS punch. Thanks for peeking!
