 Hey Ya'll!
It seems like forever since I posted, but here is one of the projects I've been working on! I've  made one of these before, and I really love how quickly they come together. Quilted

Hello everyone!.
Just a quick share today to show you this cute card made with scraps from my stash. I'm forever saving pieces of paper that most would throw away, and decided it was time to do something with them. I first used all my long strips of scrap to weave a mat for my card. Then I ran it through the Big Kick with an embossing folder before attaching it to the card. I stamped the sweet little rag doll and the sentiments inside and out with a CTMH stamp, made a jute bow and called it done! I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Summer weather?!  I'll be back soon to show a project I've been working on, and thanks for peeking in on me. I love reading your comments, it just brightens my day!

Fathers Day

Hey everyone!
Now that Fathers Day is over, I can show you the card I made for the Enabler( Hubby ). He has a Harley Davidson motorcycle and goes riding just about every Saturday with some of his buddies. I used this image on a card for my son several years ago and they both loved it so....... You can't really tell from the photo, but I used a metallic gel pen on his glasses, glittered up his teeth, and colored then used Liquid Glass on the headlights. I hope you all had a beautiful weekend and thanks for looking!

Supplies- Image copied from the computer, art work of "Letterfly", Background scenery: Memory box die "Modern Landscape", Stamped grass: Rubber Stampede, Hogs and kisses from the "Just Because Cards Cricut cart and stamped sentiment from CTMH "Your the Best".

Bee Happy

Hey everyone!

I thought I would drop in today to show you this card I made with one of the stamp sets from the Spring and Summer Idea book with  Close To My Heart. I thought this stamp set was so cute, it is one of the first ones I bought. I wanted to use them all on a card so this is what I came up with.
I decided to use up some scraps and a new embossing folder that I purchased lately. I also stamped some of the flowers and a bee on the inside and left it blank for a sentiment, but do not have a picture for it. I hope everyone had a fun in the sun Memorial Day, and said prayers for all who made it possible for us to enjoy the holiday. Thanks for looking and I'll see you soon!

Parchment and Piercing

Good morning all!
As all of you know by now, I am  purging (trying to!) my craft space. I found this kit that had been purchased several years ago from Paper Wishes. It contained some parchment paper and patterns for dry embossing. Use it or lose it, so I made two of the three cards in the kit. I also did a bit of piercing and used pearlescent watercolors to add a some color. I do like this technique, and prefer parchment to vellum because it is a heavier weight. I hope you enjoy, and thanks for looking!

I placed a piece of dotted paper behind this one.

The paper behind this one has wispy looking cloud shapes.

Supplies: Parchment kit by Ecstacy Crafts, Pearlescent paints byNiji purchased in the art department of Hobby Lobby, Outside sentiment, "Love This" from CTMH.

Mother's Day

Hey Ya'll!
It's that time again, the rush to get Mother's Day projects done before the actual day ! I've been busy making the cards, shopping for presents and even making a box for one of them to go in. I have been seeing these pop-up card boxes everywhere I look lately, even at Walmart of all places! When I saw how much they wanted for one, it sealed the deal, and I had to make one for myself.
Oh course it ended up not being for me but for my Mother. I got the instructions and a tutorial at Split Coast Stampers, and it really was not as hard as it looks. The box itself took no time at all. It was deciding what to put in the box and where to put it that took so long, lol. I did some stamping and embossing on the flowers, and used a strip of acetate to place the butterflies on. I also made a belly band( not pictured ) to hold the card closed.

I had so much fun making this one, that I made another one for my Grandson to give to his Mother!
This one also has a belly band (not shown). I wish all of you a very Happy Mother's Day, and thanks for peeking!
