Another Valentine
Hey Ya'll! Quick post today to show you this valentine made using a pre-cut card base. The sentiment is from a previous card that I never used, and the stick pin I made myself. I cut the little pennant by hand and stamped on it. Oh, I also sprayed it with glimmer mist, and stamped and colored on the envelope! Thanks for looking!
Supplies- Bird: Martha Stewart punch, Sentiment: Cricut "Straight From The Nest".

Vintage look Valentines
Hello everyone! I'm back today to show you a couple of Valentines that I made last year, but never shared. I gave both of these a vintage look because of the cupid ornaments that I purchased at Michaels. The first one is a window card and my favorite because of the vivid colors which I thought would be a bit unexpected for a valentine. I cut the window with nesties from Spellbinders and of course used the cutout as a frame for the sentiment on the inside. On the second one I went a different route and used a doily as a frame for the cupid chipboard and just added a seam binding bow and sentiment. I don't know if you can tell from thephotos, but I used a little Rock Candy stickles on all of the sentiments. Both of the card bases measure 4x6. Thanks for looking!
Supplies- Michaels: Cupid chipboard ornaments, Ranger: "Rock Candy" stickles, Spellbinders: Scallop oval nestie and Labels Eight nestie, Sentiments first card: TPC Studio "Little Lovin'" and Studio 112, Second card: Studio 112, Seam binding: Stampin' Up "Pool Party", Fiskars: Scallop punch

Valentine treats!
Hello everyone ! I thought I would go ahead and share with you these cute treat tubes that were also made with the "Whoo's Your Valentine" kit. The kit comes with everything you need to make 12 treats! It comes with paper, glitter paper, tubes, stamp set, and precut and scored boxes. These made up really quick. All you need to add is the treat and some ribbons and trim! My shoulder seems to be healing well, and only 4-6 more weeks of therapy! Whoo Hoo! Today was the first time for stretching, and let me tell you it's not too much fun. My shoulder and arm did feel better afterwards though just to get some of the stiffness out of it! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the look-see and thanks for peeking!
Supplies- CTMH: "Whoo's Your Valentine" kit, Velvet ribbon: From Michaels, Heart trim: Recollections

Valentines
Hey Ya'll! Well, it has been a week since my shoulder surgery and I can finally use my right hand a little. Still hen-peckin' on the computer, but good enough to do a quick post. I made these cute little valentines(3x3) at a long awaited get together at my friend Gale's house about a week before my surgery. We used the new "Whoo's Your Valentine" kit from Close to My Heart. Love it! These were so quick and easy to make, they would be ideal for kids to do with Mom to make for the classroom! Hope you enjoy, and see you soon with some more Valentines(which is right around the corner)! Are you ready for it?!
Supplies- Trim on Pink "Happy Valentines": from Shirley's stash(Thanks Shirley!) All other other supplies; ink, bling, shimmer trim: Close to My Heart, Stamp set: CTMH "Whoo's Your Valentine".

Wishes
Hey everyone! This card was made for my Dad who is home for the time being. Sadly, he is not doing well. This last scare at the hospital was not good for him, so I wanted to make him a card that would cheer him up and maybe even give him a chuckle. The outside of the card is similar to one that I made last year, but I changed it up alot on the inside! All the candles were fussy cut from scrapbook paper!I decided that cutting that many candles with the Cricut and trying to decorate them too was a little more work than I wanted to do at the time, so I put on my big girl panties, took out my scissors and got to work! Ta Da! A chocolate cake with all the trimmings! Any way, I think I,m over the pop-up thing for now. Hope you enjoy the cake!
Supplies- Outside sentiment and banner: CTMH Artiste coleection "Birthday", Notebook paper: EK Success "Notebook" punch, Inside sentiment: CTMH "Just a Number", Outside candles are rolled scraps of paper with Memory Thread flames.

Keep Calm
Hey Ya'll! Keeping calm is what I'm trying to do... Only a little over a week before my surgery! This card was made for my Grandson. I found this cute little stamp at JoAnn's and just had to use it right away. My Grandson is turning 16 in Feb. so no more little boy cutesie for him! I decided to do a pop-up and make him the star of his day. I added some presents and lots of glitter to the arrows and the stars. The ribbon and the large star on the front came from my stash and the "confetti" was cut buy hand. I have one more "man" card to share in the next few days and then some Valentines which I started on last week. Thanks for looking!

Good and Bad
Hello everyone! Well, the good news is Christmas and New Years have come and gone and now my house is back to normal. Bad news, It's Birthday Season! I have been scrambling to create some "Man Cards" for birthdays that are coming up the first part of February. Normally this would not be a problem, but( here's some more bad news )I have to have rotator cuff surgery done on my right shoulder on the 24th of this month! Been there, done that with my hubby a few years ago, so I know I will not be able to make any cards for awhile after the surgery. With that in mind, I decided to check my card stash to make sure I had enough birthday cards for a "baker's dozen", men and women. Well....Plenty of girlie cards there, but none for the male gender! Whew! I will still try to post after I recoup for a short time. If I can't make any new then I might re-visit some oldies but goodies and maybe even some you have never seen! 'Nuf said on the subject... This card was made for my Son's birthday. It is an accordian card, and the first of these I have made.I wet embossed the banner on the front, and used bakers twine for the strings. I also used a fairly heavy card stock for the card itself so that it would support all the candles and presents on the inside. It will have to have a special box envelope made in order to mail it, but it was alot of fun! Hope you enjoy, and I will be back in a couple of days with a new card. Thanks for looking and keep me in your prayers!
